Our first charity coffee morning for 2024 will be on Friday 26th April at 10.30am 'til 12.30pm in aid of King George VI Day Centre.

Usually these are for the following: our restoration fund, our chosen local charity (Swan Support for 2023), or a national charity such as The Royal British Legion or Macmillan Cancer Support. Over the years these events have generated thousands of pounds due to the kindness and generosity of the local community.

Please if you can, why not donate a home baked cake to help us raise funds. Cakes are always required and are the focus of the morning (please provide a list of ingredients). The students of our school will be assisting Micky out whilst learning the skills that will help them get jobs in the future.

And we now have a dedicated Chatter and Natter table at our Coffee Mornings too. Why not pop in, grab a coffee and join us for a chat. Stay for as long as you want - 5 mins or the whole morning. The choice is yours. We will have Swan volunteers about too.

Coffee mornings usually happen on the last Friday of the month between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Why not come and join us? Put it in our diary now!

Our coffee mornings totally rely on the charity of our local community through both their donations of cake, biscuits & confectionery as well as their hard earned time & cash. We can't thank everyone who has contributed enough.

All proceeds from our Coffee Mornings have contributed to these charities. Despite Covid, we have managed to hold these events regularly when the pub is open and regulations allow. Hopefully we are over the worst and we can contribute more.
