March 2025
Here is a round-up of the events at The Swan during March, 2025.
1st March: Windsor Cycle Hub
A super busy session doubtless due to the first decent Saturday of the year. Must be because it was St.David’s day. Our riders enjoyed the sun so much, they forgot to take any pictures. Plenty of were bikes fixed and security marked at The Bike Kitchen at The Swan.

1st March: Windsor Upper Schools Fundraiser
It was magnifique to see so many young folk and their families at the Swan on Saturday as we hosted a fundraiser for the Windsor Upper Schools upcoming music tour to Paris! L'ambience dans la courtyard was joyeuse with food, games and drinks. The Cowshed Stage was signed by plenty more up and coming musicians who kept us all royally entertained throughout the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who came, and if it was your first time at The Swan, we hope to see you again soon ... revien bientôt!

3rd March: Windsor Ukulele Band
Chris Brown of the Band was interviewed on Radio Berkshire regarding the Windsor Ukulele Band who are famously based at The Swan.
BBC Radio Berkshire Kirsten O'Brien in the morning
Presented by Kirsten O'Brien on Monday 3rd March 2025
Part One: introduction to the ukulele and the Band.
Part Two: Uku-oke and other events.
Thanks to the BBC Radio Berkshire team for allowing us to use this interview. For more information, please visit Windsor Ukulele Band website.

5th March: Windsor Town Funrunners
Happy First Birthday to the members of the WTF. A nice but bracing evening for a run through Windsor to the Castle and other local landmarks. And with cake and beer at the end, what's not to enjoy. Even David from the Bar Team is now joining in! New members welcome.

7-9th March: Beer Festival
We had our first beer festival of the year with a number of new and popular beers that hadn't been seen before. And we had the Windsor Ukulele Band playing on Friday with their own brand of Uku-oke. As you can see, band members sang, David from the bar sang, and all the rest joined in. Cracking weekend!
