Here is a round-up of the events at The Swan during January, 2025.

4th January: Windsor Cycle Hub

The first meeting of the year saw the members of the WCH come out to clear out the festive cobwebs and participate in an excellent Level 1 Guided Ride. The Bike Kitchen was busy too.

However, after the break the gents won both game three, Royden, and the cash game, Richard. Both won line and house. It's worth noting that after five years of trying, Richard has actually won. Not only a line but then the house, and both during the cash round. Drinks on him then!

25th January: Burns Night

The Address to the Haggis was delivered by the firepit by Euan Nicoll, accompanied by Matthew Buyskes from Windsor Boys School playing the bagpipes. Huge thanks to Matthew for stepping in at short notice for his first solo gig! Other entertainment included a Scottish themed raffle and the toast to the lads and the lassies, given by Richard Allen and Dawn Chojnaki as a hilarious, whistle stop tour through Burns love life!

31st January: Charity Coffee Morning

It was our final charity coffee morning for the community's chosen charity - King George VI. Yet another great turnout with the bakers doing another star turn. Over the year we have raise £2185 for the charity whilst having some grate cakes and a real natter.
