Here is a round-up of the events at The Swan during September, 2022. Many of our events were curtailed due to the passing og HM Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of HM King Charles III.

5th Sept: Games Night

First Monday of the month and we had another Games Night run by Simon, our local games inventor.

28th Sept: Cheese Night

The Cheesemunger was back after a short break during the summer when it was just too hot. Yet another stonking collection of cheeses were on offer that tasted abosolutely fantastic! Mike excelled himself ... again!.

28th Sept: Quiz Night

After a brief absence our ever-popular pub quiz returned this week with the usual baffling array of questions to exercise the little grey cells! Newcomers 'Two Plastic Paddies' walked away with the £25 prize, whilst Jonathan from 'Daisy's Delinquents' chose a pint of beer from the raffle table.

30th Sept: Coffee Morning

It was time for Macmillan Cancer Support to have their yearly coffee morning. For the first time, our charity coffee morning actually co-incided on the actual day. We were pleased to support this excellent charity by donating all monies taken to their cause. Thanks to the bakers and also to those who came along. From their contrbutions we raised £286.66.
