Events Diary: Bike Security

There was a fantastic turn out at The Swan for the Windsor Cycle Hub and Thames Valley Police. A lot of people brought their bikes down to be security marked. There was also advice about how to make sure you secure your bike properly and also on where to store them.

Talk on bike security

Some took advantage of the Bike Kitchen that was running in parallel to get some necessary tweeks done to their setup. And there was a WCH stall selling bike security bits & bobs and other cycling necessities.

Bike Kitchen in full flow too
Bike stands were essential - lucky it was a dry day

And the main prize from the WCH summer auction was picked up by the winner.

If you do not have your bike security sorted out already - marking, chains, etc - then please do come down to the WCH Saturday Bike Kitchens and discuss it with the team. They are available every Saturday from 11 until 12 performing bike maintenance and offering advice. They also have a small stock of important bike spares.
