Renovations Diary for 2023
Aims for 2023 are reasonable small as we need to pay back loans that we took out to complete some of the work. So this year on the main building it is finishing off the roof, the pointing, leadwork, and paintwork. And of course the removal of the scaffolding. Various bits of safety work will be carried out too and then making the place more energy efficient. Depending upon fundraising, the appearance of The Courtyard will be improved for the summer months.

JANUARY
Solar panels were installed on The School House, scaffolding removed and painting and re-pointing. All subject to the winter weather of course.

FEBRUARY
Painting is finished, roof repairs too. The scaffolding is coming down quickly and should be finished by the end of the month. Meanwhile there are improvements inside the stables and also under the covered area in The Courtyard.

After four years the scaffolding final came down. Yes, it is true. The scaffolding is all down and has been removed by Warren who doesn't look a day older than when he put it up ;)

The 'Project Cowshed' continued to work wonders to the covered area in The Courtyard.

As we built up to the Coronation, the Weekday Warriors reformed to help our with &39;project cowshed' to push it over the line for the festivities.

Can you help us at all? Volunteering is one way. Tools and materials another. Ideas for fund raising too. As we all know, running a pub is very expensive in 2023 with drink, food, fuel, and materials all increasing in price. This puts stains or our finances and constrains the renovation activites.
