3rd Sept: Week 3 Update

An update from our very own Garry Lineker ... There are 24 teams participating in The Swan fantasy Football League. After game week 3 and as we go into the International break, 4 teams have maximum points - so it's very close and all to play for.

6th Aug: Start of the 24/25 Season

A good Friend of The Swan - Stuart Robinson - has volunteered again and will manage our Fantasy Football for the 2024/25 season. Why don't you join the pub's mini-league "The Swan 2024/25"? This season it is slightly different as it is a "Head to Head" League, where teams play against one another each gameday, to keep it even more competitive!

Joining our league couldn't be easier.

STEP ONE: Simply use the link below, login or register, and then select our league "The Swan Clewer" or use our league code lhhrr5, to be added to our league for the season. BUT BE QUICK, you have until 6.30pm on Friday 16th August to register and start playing. The first game - Man Utd vs Fulham - kicks off at 8pm that evening. Good luck!

Please note there are a number of optional bits, including providing your address and phone number, that is for you to decide. Also there is an opt-in for getting correspondence from your chosen team and various sponsors, again that is for you to decide. None of this data is passed to The Swan. For the avoidance of doubt, the league code is: lhhrr5 (lima hotel hotel romeo romeo five, all lowercase letters). STEP TWO: We would ask that you email Stuart, the league administrator, with your name and your team name. This is so we contact you with updates, get togethers, and potential prizes should you do well (see below last season's winner, Gary). Without this info, we cannot get in touch with you as the Fantasy Football set up does not provide such a facility. So please do email: fantasy.football@theswanclewer.co.uk. We will only use this info for the Fantasy Football season 24/25 and in no other way.

24th May: End of the 2023/4 Season Celebrations

Congratulations to Gary Horsfall who reigned supreme in the Swan Fantasy Football this season, winning both the Cup and League. With thanks to Stuart Robinson for keeping the fantasy alive! Fantasy Football will be back next season, watch out for details.

17th May: Last Weekend of the 2023/4 Season

This weekend sees the inaugural Swan Fantasy Football League draw to a close. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken part. Barring a disaster "The Tykes" managed by Gary Horsfall, are set to be crowned as champions. Things are much tighter at the bottom, where two sides are fighting to avoid the Wooden Spoon. "IceCold FC", managed by our very own man behind the bar Dave Feaver, after a frantic last month of tinkering now find themselves only 32 points behind second from bottom "TakingtheSchmeichel", managed by Keith O'Brien. It's Cup Final weekend too, with "The Tykes" aiming to do the double, although "Roysboys" managed by Colin Armfield will provide a stern test!

4th Aug, 2023: Start of the 2023/4 Season

For the 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League, why don't you join the pub's mini-league "The Swan Clewer"? Joining the league couldn't be easier. Simply use the link below and you'll be added automatically after you've entered the game.

BUT be quick, you have until 6.30pm on Friday 11th August to register and start playing. The first game - BUR v MCI - kicks off at that time. Good luck!

This is going to be a good bit of fun over the season. There will be lows, there will be highs, and there will be plenty of stories. The main idea is that this is a bit of fun and for bragging rights next May. Enjoy and have fun!
