The Swan Chess Club

Meeting every Monday at 7:00pm, the club brings together players of all abilities for friendly games, tactical battles and good conversation in a relaxed pub atmosphere.

Beginners are particularly welcome. Regular attendee Will is an excellent teacher and is always happy to help newcomers learn the game, improve their skills and build confidence over the board. Just be warned, he’s a little competitive and will certainly keep you on your toes!

Whether you’re looking to improve your game, learn some new tactics, or simply enjoy a game over a drink, there’s always a seat and a chessboard waiting for you.
