More than a pub, the heart of the community

The Swan just wouldn’t exist without the support of its community. You can find out more about our community partners by following the links below to their websites

The community is one of the three pillars of The Swan, the others being the school and the brewery. The pub is at the heart of the community, and vice-versa. With great beers, exciting food, and fabulous events and clubs, The Swan is unique within Windsor.

Charity Coffee Mornings

Enjoy homemade cakes, good company, and the chance to give back to our community. Held monthly, our coffee mornings raise funds for local charities such as Berkshire Vision, Friends of Windsor Music, Swan Support, The Baby Bank, The Windsor Boys' School Boat Club, and Windsor Street Angels. We also raise funds for national charities such as Macmillan and the Royal British Legion. And, sometimes, Charity begins at home as we raise funds to complete the refurbishment of The Swan.

Green Room Foundation

The Green Room Foundation, a registered charity, has developed a sixth form and graduate programme for their older students in order to help them transition from the school environment to the world of work via training courses, work experiences, and employment in a safe environment. Green Canteen (Tuesdays 5pm to 8pm) and Epic Thursday Brunch Service (11am to 1pm) during Term Times is an opportunity for Green Room students to gain real experience in the hospitality industry by providing a ‘front of house’ service to staff, parents, The Swan customers and our community for delicious food.

Windsor Cycle Hub

Windsor Cycle Hub, a registered charity, has made The Swan its base and promotes cycling in the Windsor area. Every Saturday, we welcome cyclists for free bike safety checks, guided rides, and a friendly space to connect. It’s all about promoting healthy living and sustainable transport

Social Clubs & Activities

With various community led groups booking tables and space in The Swan, we are able to offer something for everyone

Community Space

The Coach House is the perfect place for anyone in the community to book for a Birthday Party (16th, 18th, 40th, 70th, or even 100!), a celebration following a Christening or Wedding at the local church, St Andrews, or for a team meeting or business presentation.

We also have The School Room, the ‘Cow Shed’, Courtyard, or Stable Rooms available for hire.
