2023 Events

JANUARY

January saw RBWM using The Swan to hold consultation meetings about a proposed Cyclops roundabout closeby, the last coffee morning for Family Friends, and the Quizmaster in a kilt. Have a wee peek to see what happened.

FEBRUARY

In February we saw the return of Bingo and the selection of our 2023 charity, Swan Support. Traditional regular events continued to be popular. Although a short month, there was plenty of entertainment at The Swan.

MARCH

During March we had our usual activities such as Stamttisch, Board Games, Bingo and of course, the Quiz. There was an excellent coffee morning for Swan Support and the Cycle Hub continued to be very popular.

APRIL

We had several events during the Easter Weekend that saw egg hunting, Easter bonnet makin and James Brown providing live music. There were some nail biting quizzes and bingo continues to be popular in The Coach House. Our coffee morning for Swan Support raised some good money to help them, and the Cycle Hub continues to grow in popularity. See April here.

MAY

This is one month that will live on in memories forever. Not only did we have the Coronation of HM King Charles II, we also had our first Warhammer event. See our photos and comments from May here.

JUNE

Start a new month and we were sad to see Connor leave us - good luck sir!. There was plenty on at The Swan to entertain during June, see some of it on our dedicated page. Couple of quizzes as normal, warhammer still on a Tuesday, and a few BBQs amongst a plethora of activities at The Swan.

JULY

June ended with some cracking weather, but as usual with Wimbledon and The Ashes on, it took a turn for the worse and started raining. BUT we didn't let that dampen our spirts during July at The Swan.

AUGUST

During August we have our normal range of events but we also had SwanFest, our big community party with live music, guest beers, entertainment, food and more. And there was a beautiful wedding too. See our August highlights at The Swan.

SEPTEMBER

During September we had our usual range of events and activities ... chatty café, the Stitch Gang, Ukulele Group, Warhammer and much more. We also saw the return of Bingo from its summer holidays. For more, see our September highlights page.

OCTOBER

See our October highlights page for what was on such as our OktoberFest extravaganza, the return of one of our old landladies, the rugby world cup, and much more.

NOVEMBER

See our November highlights page for what was on. We started off with a bang quite - quite literally - with our Bonfire Night Party and finished off with a Scottish celebration of Haggis, Neeps & Tatties.

DECEMBER

During the run up to Christmas, there was a lot going at the pub during December. Carol singing, morris dancers, the Big Man himself and much more. See our summary.
