Whether you’re an avid reader or simply looking for an enjoyable evening with like-minded people, why not join us?
The Swan Book Club
Meeting on the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the Coach House, our Book Club brings together readers from across Windsor and the surrounding area to discuss books, share recommendations and enjoy good company in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
There is no need to be an expert literary critic. Our discussions are informal, friendly and open to anyone with a love of reading, whether you’re a lifelong bookworm or simply looking to discover something new.
Rather than reading the same book every month, the group usually chooses a small number of themed books each year through a members’ vote. For example, in September we’ll be sharing and discussing biographies and autobiographies chosen by members. Much of our time is spent chatting about what we’ve been reading, recommending new titles and discovering books that others have enjoyed.
Members are also welcome to borrow, exchange or donate books through The Swan’s community bookshelves, which are available for everyone to use. Whether you’re looking for your next great read or have a book you’d like to pass on to someone else, you’ll find plenty of inspiration on our shelves.
New members are always welcome.
