It’s a Quiz Night – but with a solar eclipse!
A rare spectacle is coming to the skies above Windsor and we’re throwing open the garden gates for a relaxed evening of eclipse watching, good company and pub quiz fun.
Join us from 6:00pm on Wednesday 12 August 2026 as we gather to watch the solar eclipse from The Swan’s garden.
With around 90% coverage expected in Windsor, this promises to be an incredible sight as the Moon passes across the face of the Sun, creating a dramatic partial eclipse visible across much of the UK.
What to Expect

✅ Safe viewing advice and a limited supply of certified solar viewing glasses

Important Safety Information
⚠️ Never look directly at the Sun without approved solar viewing glasses.
Regular sunglasses are not safe for viewing an eclipse.
A small supply of certified eclipse glasses will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own approved solar viewers where possible.
