We’re incredibly proud to share that Micky has been named a finalist for the prestigious British Institute of Innkeeping Licensee of the Year Award 2026 — one of the most respected accolades in the UK pub industry, celebrating excellence in leadership, hospitality, and community impact.
The Licensee of the Year Award (LOYA) is the most prestigious award for an individual or partnership of licensees in the pub hospitality industry. The competition follows a rigorous selection process, giving entrants the opportunity to assess their business at every turn, with mystery customer visits, a spotlight on all areas including marketing, sustainability, training & development, and community.
From over 600 pubs and licensees across the UK, Micky, and The Swan, has been shortlisted into the Top Six – a remarkable achievement and a testament to everything we stand for.
