We decided to celebrate International Talk Like A Pirate Day in style. The pub was decorated inside and outside by out motley crew in preparation for the Sunday event.

Cap'n Micky and Bosun Connor were joined by Seaman Tony in the galley. Other members of the crew helped at the bar, with the BBQ and in creating cutlasses for the younger pirates that were expected to visit. Event the cros's nest was manned for a while.

We had a steady stream of people throughout the day, with some even dressing up for the occasion. Our guest ale - Ghost Ship - went down a real treat and was sold out quickly.

Entertainment was provided by Mark & Sherridan who on occasion were joined by some of the team from The Green Room School.
